Important Notice:
As provided by State Law (M.R.S.A. [1992], Title 23, Selection 33650-A) and City Ordinance (Chapter 20, Sec. 303.1), if any utility , the City of Brewer, or the Maine Central Railroad has underground facilities in the area of the proposed excavation, no person shall begin excavation in such area without first notifying, in writing or in person, said utility, City of Brewer or Maine Central Railroad Co. of his intent to excavate.  Notice must be given at least 72 hours (exclusive of weekends and legal holidays) prior to beginning any excavation.
